Now that I have hit 74 I look back with nostalgia at the relative youth of my 50's. Celebrating aging as a 50 year old is facile. At 50 I was still playing competitive baseball, still mountain biking, still refereeing football and largely doing pretty much the same things as I was in my 30's albeit with a bit more recovery time required. My challenge to you; come back in 25 years time and revisit the topic. Then you can write with more experience/knowledge about "being old".....because, well, you will then actually BE old.
